Darren's First Word

Today we heard Darren's first meaningful word. When we read him an alphabet book, whenever we reached the page for "G for Goose", Darren would point at the picture of the goose and said "duck". We thought it was just a one time wonder, but he could repeat it consistently every time when the page was reached. Apparently he had mistaken a goose for duck. We all know very well where he leant the "duck" from. It is from "Old Mc Donald" song featuring in Baby Einstein video. Also, he had a bath rubber duckie. I always told him "duck" when he played with it during the bath time.
